Carefree Wheelbarrow Tires Receive Member Tested Seal of Approval The
world’s first flat-free wheelbarrow tire -- the Carefree Tire® developed by
Arnco -- has received the Handyman Club of America Member Tested Seal
of Approval and an exceptionally high approval rating from members of the
nationwide organization who tested the tire. Test
results were announced by Bill Hory, General Manager for Carefree Tire LLC, the According
to Mr. Hory, the Carefree Tires received an overall rating of 9 out of a perfect
score of 10 from club members, and was awarded a 9 in every category –
quality, performance, design and durability.
The tire, which reduces downtime for contractors, has also proven the perfect answer for frustrated homeowners who are greeted each spring with a wheelbarrow tire gone flat from months of sitting idle in the shed. Unlike pneumatic tires, the Carefree Tire will never lose air. It is manufactured by a proprietary process using a customized formula of Advanced Polymeric Urethane (APU) that makes the tire flat proof without adding any significant weight. The 100 percent micro-cellular polyurethane material also lasts at least four-to-ten times longer than pneumatic tires. The
tire is backed by a lifetime guarantee and eliminates all chances of a flat or
tire breakdown. It performs as
well as air-filled tires, won’t crack or ooze from long exposures to sunlight
and is oil and chemical resistant. It will never go flat, is amazingly
lightweight, very durable and is significantly easier to roll than ordinary hard
